“If we change within, our outer life will change also.”  Jean Shinoda Bolen

Do you feel like everything around you is hectic and out of control?  Do you find yourself exhausted and frustrated with the clutter & demands of daily life? I am trained and certified in Somatic Experience (SE) and trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR); Brain Spotting; and Brain Gym.  My approach is trauma informed with a systemic lens.  So my therapeutic approach is, “what happened to you?” instead of “what is wrong with you?”.  Together we will map out a treatment plan of healing for growth, navigating from your courage to hope to help you change inside & therefore calm your outside.

“The future is as bright as the promises of God.” William Carey

    Areas of Focus

My areas of special interest  and focus are working with shame & vulnerability; trauma; emotion regulation; depression & anxiety; families affected by addiction & those in active recovery/sobriety; and grief.  I have an emphasis in codependency while being trained at The Meadows in Arizona, and having an understanding of Love Addiction/Love Avoidance, as well as, the Core Developmental Immaturity Model developed by Pia Mellody.

I work with individuals (ages 11-up), couples & families.  I mainly offer only telehealth services.

I am a Licensed Clinical Marriage & Family Therapist in Kansas and California, and Somatic Experience Practitioner, in private practice, at the location of Four Branches Therapy & Wellness, LLC. I earned a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Friends University, Wichita, Kansas; a Bachelors of Psychology degree, Azusa Pacific University, in Azusa,  California.
