Areas of Focus

I have a primary focus and special interest in helping clients cope with triggers due to childhood PTSD and adverse childhood experiences.  I work with ages 12+ and enjoy working with teens and young adults who struggle with anger/rage and guide them to find closure about their abusive/dysfunctional past; rebuild their identity and self-esteem; and create a healthy outlook for their future.  I also enjoying working with individual adults, especially stay at home moms and single parents, offering telehealth as a convenient alternative to making therapy manageable.
I use my training in Mindfulness-based therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to help clients release repressed and otherwise stuck memories/experiences, so they can regain power and control over their own lives; feeling confident and empowered.  I offer both telehealth and in person sessions.
